Martin Lycka has been a senior legal, regulatory & RG advisor to listed global gambling businesses for over 15 years. Martin has most recently served as SVP for American Regulatory Affairs and Responsible Gambling at Entain. Prior to that, he has worked with Betfair as well as amongst others with Salans Europe LLP, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Senate of the Czech Republic.
He obtained law degrees from the Charles University, Prague, the College of Europe, Bruges, and the University of Law, London, qualifying as UK solicitor. His media presence includes appearances on TV and radio stations across three continents as well as having been quoted by the likes of the Wall Street Journal, ESPN, Forbes, the Associated Press, Financial Times, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Globo and many other mainstream and industry publications.
Martin has won numerous global and North American industry awards, including four Vixio Global Regulatory Awards. He hosts the Safe Bet Show podcast.
